Hey!
I'm Chloe, a Scottish lass born in Kirkcaldy back in 2003. But don't let the accent fool you - my family and I moved down under to Australia in 2017. The move was one of the hardest parts of my life, but I would never turn back.
After wrapping up high school in Mackay, QLD in 2020, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I considered being a nurse, a beautician, or even a forensic scientist, but nothing really clicked. Then, while working on some digital marketing projects for my dad's business, I realised I loved the problem-solving and creativity involved in building websites and promoting businesses online.
So, I took a chance and started working full-time with my dad, learning all about digital marketing and attending breakfast meetups with other business owners. During this time I also worked in a day spa as a junior beauty therapist.
Speaking of which, that brings me to Boderia! By combining my love of beauty and my digital marketing skills, I saw a huge opportunity to help other beauty business owners improve their online presence. I pitched the idea to my dad, and boom - as of July 1st, 2021, I'm now the proud owner of Boderia at just 18 years old!
